The Dove Mountain Civic Group is
composed of volunteer residents who monitor and inform the community about issues
pertaining to government agencies, services, organizations, land developers and other entities whose actions might
impact or
be of interest to the Dove Mountain community.
Such issues include transportation, water,
planning and zoning, the Marana Town Offices, Marana Parks, Recreation & Trails, residential and
commercial development, health care and local safety & security.

Worked
with the Marana Town Council regarding storage units on
Tortolita Road

Sponsored informational
community meetings regarding fire, police and hospital emergency services, zoning,
elections and water

Worked with the Town, the Northwest Fire
and Rescue District and US
Homes to provide direct access from Dove Mountain Fire
Station into Heritage Highlands

Spearheaded
the organization of the Marana Police Citizen's
Patrol (Marana VIPS)
