The Dove Mountain Civic Group is a group of volunteer residents who monitor and inform the community about issues involving government and quasi-government agencies, services organizations, land developers and other entities whose actions might impact or
be of interest to the Dove Mountain community.
Such issues include water, transportation, planning and zoning, the Marana Town Council, Marana Parks, Recreation & Trails, residential and

Some
accomplishments to date include working with the
Marana Town Council regarding storage units on
Tortolita Road and sponsoring community meetings about
fire, police and hospital emergency services, zoning,
elections, and water. Our members also worked with the
town, the Northwest Fire Rescue/District and US
Homes to provide direct access from Dove Mountain Fire
Station into Heritage Highlands. We also spearheaded
the organization of the Marana Police Citizen's
Patrol.
